This chair was picked up at the same time as the one in the first blog and while it was in worse shape ..I didn't get around to taking before photos to show you ..That was a shame as the chair now is a different shape to the original ...

The seat was sprung ..(badly)..and the fabric didn't go all the way down at the rear of the chair ..it was also polished wood ..
I thought upholstering this one in a similar fabric to the previous one (pictured below) would help marry them together if put in the same room ...The chairs are a similar shape and I painted them the same colour ..so they do look good together..
They're a bit girlie .. in colour and so would suit a bedroom or feminine sitting room .

The colour and fabric that's used on a chair will put the chair any where you want it, no matter what the style. If I had painted the chairs black with a strong patterned fabric and perhaps some brass stud work they would both look good in a gentleman's club ...Or upholster them in french grey linen and you have another look ..
It is possible to find things on the street and fit them into any decor..with the right colour and fabric...
